Bread Roll

Deep fried bread rolls stuffed with potatoes..which can be eaten in the morning as breakfast or as a evening snack. It can be served with green chutney or sauce.

Bread Roll

 

Ingredients :

  • 8 Bread Slice
  • 4 boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 2 Green Chilies (Finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (Finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • Oil for frying

Method :

  • Peel the potatoes, grate and put in a bowl.
  • Add onion, green chilies, red chili powder, salt to taste, coriander leaves. coriander powder and mix well.
  • Take one bread slice at a time and dip in the water lightly on one side. Place the slice in between your palms and press squeezing out the excess water.
  • Place one tablespoon of mixture in the centre of this bread and completely cover the mixture giving the oval shape. Repeat and make all the rolls.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and drop the rolls one by one. Make sure the heat should be medium.
  • Fry the bread rolls until golden brown, turning occasionally.
  • Take out with the help of ladle on absorbent paper, so that excess oil will be absorbed.
  • Serve hot bread roll with hara dhaniya chutney or tomato sauce.
