Banana bajji is also a kind of pakoras. In southern India pakoras are usually called as bajji. Here I am sharing banana bajji stuffed with delicious sauce. Hopefully you guys are going to love this snack.

Ingredients :
- 2 Raw Banana
- 1 cup Besan (Gram flour)
- 1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 2 Tomato (Finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- 1/2 Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
- Salt to taste
- a pinch of Baking soda
- Chat masala to sprinkle
- 1 tbsp Oil + for frying Water
Method :
- Peel and cut the banana’s into 2 inch pieces. Boil the bananas in little water.
- Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw aroma disappear.
- Add finely chopped onion and cook till they are translucent. Now add tomatoes, cook till they are soft.
- Add black pepper powder, honey tomato sauce, lemon juice and stir well.
- Add salt to taste, lemon juice, fresh coriander leaves, 2 tbsp water and stir for 1 minute. Keep this stuffing aside.
- Mix besan, salt to taste, baking soda, carom seeds in a bowl. Make a batter with sufficient amount of water. (Batter consistency should be of dosa)
- Heat oil in a pan. Dip the bananas in the batter one at a time and slowly drop in frying pan.
- Turn the bananas occasionally and fry till they are golden brown.
- Drain the excess oil by using ladle to take out the bajjis from the oil.
- Cut the banana bajjis into half make sure it should be attached from one side.
- Now fill the prepared mixture into these bananas, sprinkle some chat masala and serve hot with green chutney or sauce.
