Aloo Chaat

Aloo chaat is the famous street food made in north India. It is originated in Delhi and is loved throughout the country. Aloo chaat is prepared by frying the boiled potatoes and seasoned with spices and chutney. Enjoy the mouthwatering crispy aloo chaat recipe during raining season.

Aloo Chaat

Ingredients :

  • 3 large potatoes (boiled and cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp amchoor powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
  • fresh coriander leaves ( chopped)
  • oil for frying

Method :

  • Boil, peel and chop the potatoes in cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Now reduce the flame to medium and fry the potato cubes till ¬†they become golden brown.
  • Take out the fried potatoes with the help of strainer on an absorbent paper.
  • Transfer the fried potatoes to a big bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, chaat masala, amchoor powder, tamarind chutney, fresh coriander leaves and mix well.
  • To serve transfer the potato mixture to serving bowl or plate. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy the crispy aloo chaat with your loved ones.
