Grilled Chicken Recipe | How to make grilled chicken


Get grilling! Smoky char-grilled flavor can’t be beat, so I am sharing one of my husbands tried and tested recipe of grilled chicken. It is a very simple marinade which uses ingredients that you will most likely have on hand. It is the perfect way to start your grilling season.


Ingredients :

  • 2 boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 medium tomatoes (quartered)
  • 1 medium onion (finely sliced)
  • dhaniya chutney for serving

Method :

  • Pour olive oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Put all the dried masala that is turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt to taste and lemon juice. Mix together well with a fork.
  • Add chicken to the mixing bowl. Make sure masala coats the chicken well. Let the chicken marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a grill to medium-high.(or you can prepare the charcoal grill with coal). Brush the grill grates with olive oil using a oil brush.
  • Remove the chicken from marinade and place it on the grill and cook until golden and slightly charred, about 3 minutes per side. Also place the quartered tomatoes ¬†on the grill grate and grill until charred, about 3-4 minutes. After that remove from the grill.
  • Remove the grilled chicken from grill and slice them.
  • Place the sliced grilled chicken on platter along with roasted tomatoes and sliced onion. You can also put the dhaniya chutney on platter.
  • Enjoy your grilled chicken this winter season.
