Ingredients:
- 1 Kg ground meat
- 1 cup kidney beans (boiled)
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 3 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 4 medium tomatoes finely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon corn meal
- Salt to taste
Method:
- In an oven, on medium heat, brown the ground meat and onion until meat is lightly browned.
- Add chili powder, garlic, oregano, cumin, tomatoes, cayenne, salt, kidney beans, corn meal, and water. Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 1 hour. Remove from heat. Skim off any grease that come to the surface before serving.
