Khoya Korma and Paneer Makhana Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 gms Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
  • 100 gms Khoya
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 4 Green Chillies (Finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 50 gms Makhana
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Method :

  • Grind both the onions and tomato to a smooth paste separately.
  • In a pan, add khoya and without ghee stir for 5 minutes.
  • Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, add paneer and fry till they are golden in colour.
  • Take out the paneer with the help of ladle and set aside.
  • Now fry makhana and set aside.
  • Add the remaining ghee to this pan, now add green chillies, onion and saute for one minute.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and cook till it becomes pink in colour.
  • Add tomato paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cook till the oil separates ¬†from masala.
  • Beat the yogurt to a smooth paste and add to the masala, cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add fried makhana, paneer, khoya, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Cook for 3 minutes. When the gravy gets thick add garam masala and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
