Aloo fry is a simple and easy to cook recipe. Everyone has there different ways to cook aloo fry. I have learnt this aloo fry recipe from my mother in law. In my in-laws house, on every Thursday you will find aloo fry recipe in the dinner along with kadhi.

Ingredients :
- 5-6 Potatoes
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves (Finely chopped)
Method :
- Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.(you can cut into half inch cubes but I prefer thin slices)
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds.
- When seeds start crackling add potatoes to it and stir until the oil coats the slices.
- Cook on low heat. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt to taste and stir until the slices are coated with the spices.
- Continue to stir fry and cook until potatoes are soft.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Serve hot with chapatis along with any gravy dish.
