Vegetable Dalia

Servings : 2, Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Dalia (soak Dalia for 15 – 20 minutes)
  • 1 medium carrot (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium potato (finely chopped)
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, add chopped onions to it. Saute for few minutes till it gets soft.
  2. Add carrot, potato and peas to it. Stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add tomato and fry for few minutes
  4. Add turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  5. Add dalia and cook for a few minutes.
  6. Add 2 cups of water and cook till dalia softens.
  7. Serve hot.
