Palak Paneer Roll Recipe

Here I am sharing this recipe which is rich in iron and protein. Palak paneer rolls are made from crumbled paneer, chopped palak and black chana. This is a very good evening snack for your kids.

Palak Paneer Roll

Cooking Time : 20 minutes     Serving : 4-5

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Spinach (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup crumbled Paneer
  • 1 cup Besan (Gram flour)
  • 2 boiled Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Spring Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 1 and half Black Chana (boiled and mashed)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 cup Suji (Semolina)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying

Method :

  • Wash spinach in running water and finely chop them.
  • Put spinach/palak in a bowl, add crumbled paneer, besan, mashed potatoes, spring onion, black chana, garam masala, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Now with the help of your hands make rolls from this mixture.
  • Put suji in a plate and place the roll in suji, turn around so that the roll is completely covered with suji.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the rolls on both sides in oil till they are light golden brown in colour.
  • Serve palak paneer roll with green chutney or tomato sauce.
