Oats Fritters (Oats Pakora) Recipe

Everyone knows about the benefits of oats. So these days I am trying to find ways to give oats to my son so that he will get a good amount of fiber in his diet. I tried these oats fritters which my son loved. Here is a simple recipe which you can also try for your kids…

Oats Fritters

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Oats
  • 4 tbsp Besan (Gram flour)
  • 2 medium Potato (Peeled and finely sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Chat masala to sprinkle
  • Oil for frying

Method :

  •  In a bowl add oats, besan, red chili powder, fresh coriander, salt to taste and mix well. With the help of sufficient amount of water make a batter. The consistency of the mixture should be like onion pakora.
  •  Mean while heat oil in a kadai for frying.
  • Now add the sliced potato in the batter and mix well.
  • With the help of spoon drop the mixture into hot oil on medium flame. Fry the fritters till golden brown.
  • Sprinkle chat masala on Oats fritters and serve hot with tomato sauce or with your favourite chutney.
