Mango mastani is a thick mango milkshake topped with ice cream, nuts, tutti frutti and cherry. Mango mastani is popular through out India during the summer season. It is a very simple recipe yet its very delicious. Like my son mango mastani is loved by all the mango lovers. Lets start with the recipe..

Mango mastani

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup ripped mango, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup thick milk, cold
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • mango pieces, roughly chopped
  • 4 to 6 scoops vanilla ice creams
  • 2 tsp almonds, chopped
  • 2 tsp cashews, chopped
  • 2 tsp pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tsp anar dana (pomegranate )

Method :

  • Peel and dice the mangoes and reserve some mango pieces for topping.
  • In a large blender add chopped mangoes, milk, 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, sugar and blend.
  • Adjust the sweetness, if you love more sweet add 1 more tbsp of sugar.
  • Pour this thick mango milkshake in glasses, leave some space at the top for ice cream scoop, mango chunks etc.
  • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • Now top with few chopped mangoes and pomegranate.
  • Garnish with chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.
  • Also add some tutti frutti (personally I avoid to add as my son did not like them).
  • Serve mango mastani chilled with a spoon and straw.
