Aamras recipe | how to make aamras

Ingredients :

  • 2 large alphonso or 3 to 4 kesar mangoes
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • sugar to taste
  • ¼ tsp dry ginger powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1/3 cup of water or milk as required (to adjust the thickness)

Method :

  • Rinse the mangoes, then peel and chop them.
  • In a blender, add the chopped mango pieces and blend.
  • You can add some sugar to adjust the sweetness and some milk or water to adjust the thickness.
  • Pour in small bowls and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Serve aamras with pooris.
