
A Swiss jam roll, jelly roll, or cream roll is a type of sponge cake roll filled with whipped cream, jam, or icing. After going through the recipe… must try it for your kids and family members.
For The Swiss Roll
- 3 eggs
- 75g golden caster sugar
- 75g self-raising flour
For the filling
- 75g raspberry jam
- 125ml whipped double cream
- Icing sugar to dust or grated coconut
Method :

Preheat the oven to 200C. Grease and line a 23cm x 30cm/9in x 12in Swiss roll tin

Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl until pale and fluffy.

Fold in the flour and spoon the mixture into the tin. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until light and springy to the touch.

Remove from the oven and turn the sponge out onto another piece of greaseproof paper.

For the filling, spread the jam onto the sponge and then spread with the cream, leaving a small gap around the edges.

Start rolling, use the paper to help you roll the sponge tightly. Sit it seam-side down until cold.

Your swiss jam roll is ready.Dust with icing sugar or grated coconut and serve.
